I just had to share these with you. Would you let an atheist care for you pet? Shouldn’t you instead try to witness to these people? Is chronic illness taboo among your friends [...] We saw the new rheumatologist today. He was great! He asked lots of questions, and answered lots of our questions. Here’s the visit in a [...] We have a new rheumy! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! I will NEVER have to set foot in David’s old rheumatologist’s office ever again! No more four hour waits. No more unanswered questions. No more nasty nurses. [...] There’s not much to tell about David’s psoriatic arthritis right now. We’re just playing the waiting game. Waiting for the house to sell. Waiting for better health insurance to cover the Humira David needs. Waiting to see if we have to move to Arizona for the climate. Waiting to see what happens since David hasn’t taking his Methotrexate and Plaquenil in a month. Waiting to see if the exercise program David is on helps. Waiting is no fun. [...] Uh, so David just kind of decided to stop taking his methotrexate. He’s only been getting worse, and I was the one who brought it up in the first place, but um…I thought he’d want to talk to his rheumatologist first. He’s still taking his Plaquenil and all his other meds. I guess we’ll see [...] |
