We have a new rheumy! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
I will NEVER have to set foot in David’s old rheumatologist’s office ever again! No more four hour waits. No more unanswered questions. No more nasty nurses.

My husband and I are complete opposites. I like to think we balance each other. English and reading were always my best subjects in school, while David is very good at math and science. (They even got me refill tapes!) But we’re opposite in other ways as well. Girl. Boy. Tall and short. David is 6′ 4″. I’m 5′ 2”. And then there are our computers and desks.

Maybe that means I have a genetic predisposition to love phenylalanine. Personally, I think phenylalanine protects you against Swine Flu.

I figure I can enjoy Diet Coke all I want. I don’t drink or smoke. I’ve never done drugs. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables and exercise. See, I can justify anything. Don’t let me go shopping with you.
