Blogging Anniversary

25 Apr

Today, April 25, is my one year blogging anniversary. What a year it’s been! David’s arthritis is so much more stable now, and even my jaw is better than it was a year ago. I got a part time job. David got his Humira. We put our house on the market hoping to sell it [...]

Political Post

I am not an extremist. The reason I decided to write this post is because I read and heard that people who attend TEA Party rallies are extremists one too many times. Chronic Illness and Finances

29 Jan

As I was doing our taxes this year, I tallied up all of our medical expenses for 2009. We spent $12,000. And we didn’t even have any surgeries or hospitalizations.

Suffice it to say, we’ve never been able to go beyond an emergency fund to a savings account with three months of living expenses. Sorry Suze.
