Every year David and I have a tradition of doing something different. Last year we drove around and looked at Christmas lights in a very nice neighborhood. One year we saw A Christmas Carol at the Dallas Theater Center. It’s nice doing something special, just the two of us. We really like trying new things, so that’s our tradition. [...] There’s also the gift of time. Brother #3 is a busy man, and this year he asked me to get his dog registered with his city. In his city, you actually have to go to Animal Control’s office to register your pet. They don’t let you mail in your paper work. And guess what? Sometimes Animal Control has to leave the building to catch animals.
