We survived our second week in New Jersey.
Monday when David came home from work, he said, “I put in a request to go to a training conference in Virginia. It’s Wednesday through Friday. They’ll never approve it on such short notice.”
Tuesday afternoon, David calls me and says, “Pack my bag. I’m leaving in three hours.”

Last week David had a blowout. Although he was going 45 miles an hour at the time, he was not hurt, and we are so thankful for that. However, all four tires were worn thin and had to be replaced. What sort of tires need to be replaced after a year or 20,000 miles?

December was the month of the car. My Explorer needed quite a bit of work. New tires. An inspection. The brake switch was replaced. The oil changed.

It looks like we won’t be selling our house. There have only been seven showings since March. We’ve spoken with our realtor, and we’re not willing to do any more price reductions. Our contract with the realtor ends in September, and if it hasn’t sold by then, we’ll just wait until the market is better. We might rent the house out, and rent a one story for us to live in. Truthfully, we have no idea what we’re going to do.
