The Ligament Episode Day 3

Yesterday David worked from home. I worked at my job all day. Normally, I’m just part-time, but the receptionist was out, and I had promised to cover for her. It was a lot of added stress, making sure David had his phone, laptop, chargers, etc. early in the morning and then going to work. But, working was kind of a nice break for me. Isn’t that sad? My parents brought us dinner last night. Mom made broccoli (Yay! I love broccoli!) and even pudding.

Today we tried to sleep in, but unfortunately, David woke up hurting. We went out for a bit to pick up prescriptions and deposit checks at the bank. Over $3,000 spent on TMJ Disorder this year and my health insurance company reimbursed me $205. After that we went to Luby’s where I got to eat more broccoli and David got to try the right kind of chopped steak.

We’re pretty wiped out from all that excitement. I’ve done two loads of laundry, and I’m going to try to clean a little bit before bed. Praise God, I talked my realtor into canceling the open house scheduled for Sunday because of the rain and it’s the Dallas Cowboys’ First game of the season.

David’s still in a lot of pain. We’re both really tired. We’re in survival mode. We’re taking things hour by hour. I just made dinner and now I need to clean up the kitchen.
