This has got to be one of my top 10 favorite post! After living in the D.C. area in the 80s, and meeting so many people from New Jersey, I died laughing knowing that they probably could not understand a word you said! Even though I am a Yankee from Michigan, I’ve lived here, in Texas, so long that I understood every word you said! You are so cute and funny! I know that these last few days have been difficult with the flare up. Your attitude is very encouraging. As the Bible says “A Merry Heart is good like medicine!”
That’s pretty awesome. You forgot the best road in Dallas — I-35. I might just have to link my pastor, his wife and sister-in-law, all from New Jersey, to this post.
You are too cute! My favorite word you said – “Chiptole” – haha!!! And you officially spell it y’all … not ya’ll … I just had a big conversation about this actually – how sad is that?
The Dallas Cowboy “policially correct” answer is funny!!!
I just adore you!! You have got to be one of the cutest things, keep up on that accent, you’ll need to teach it to your babies!
My SIL just moved from NH to Dallas in March, my niece is 2 and my nephew is one. I can’t wait to see what comes out of their mouths at Christmas! I’m hoping for a y’all!!
Sugar pie – you sound like my Texas cousins.
You know deep down here in Mississippi we just run around bare foot all the time fixen to do things.
Enjoyed the smiles.
