Wrapping a Cash Present – Works for Me Wednesday

Here’s a fun way to wrap cash when you’re giving it as a gift. (Just don’t tell my nephew!)
Take crepe paper and start wrapping it around like a ball of yarn. This would also work with small toys or quarters.
When you get to the end, tape down the edges.
You can use curling ribbon as a package topper. It’s really fun to watch kids unravel all this!

How fun! One year I gave my two nephews each a ten dollar bill for Christmas. One of them I wrapped inside part of a wrapping paper tube. It pretty much looked like he was getting an umbrella. For the younger brother, I wrapped a tiny box, inside a bigger box, inside a bigger box, etc.
When presented with their gifts, the older was jealous of the size of the box of the younger’s present. He actually tried to get him to swap gifts before opening. It ended up being the highlight of the evening, watching him open box after box.
That’s such a good idea with the wrapping paper tube! I once received a check that was in nesting boxes. Sometimes I think presentation counts for half the grade just like it did when I was in Culinary Arts classes.
What a great idea. I may do this in my kids’ stockings this year!
Oh my gosh….that is adorable! What a neat idea! SO much better than just opening a card!
That is such a great idea! I love it.
I’ve never seen that before… I know my nieces – they’d tear the money up trying to get inside that ball!!!
I would like to thnkx for the efforts you have put in writing this site. I am hoping the same high-grade website post from you in the upcoming as well.
