This is how I store my gift bags and tissue paper.

Two tiered pants hangers from The Container Store. One for Christmas bags, and one for everything else.

Here’s what works for me with my wrapping paper.

Yes, it’s just a plastic trash can from Wal-Mart. Most wrapping organization boxes and kits seem to use horiztonal space. I like using vertical space. It gives me more room in my craft closet in our workout room.

Yes, our workout room is typically over run by craft projects and wrapping. Why do you think I’m having a guest post by a personal trainer?

That is a great idea about the pants hanger. I always save and reuse gift bags but have no good place to put them :)

    Happy New Year!

Now that is an innovative use of a pant hanger.

I also store my wrapping paper in a tall, slim trash can. I never could bring myself to pay $10-$20 for a wrapping paper container when I could use something I already had!

I’m a wrapping paper junkie. Every Christmas I always buy some at like 70% off…I never pay more than a buck or two…but Doug just counted 30 rolls of brand new, unopened paper! I guess I better quit buying!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog. It took us a week to do the ceilings 1 day to remove the popcorn, 2-for the knockdown texture, 1-for dry time, and 2-to spray the coats of paint. It’s messy…but the end results are nice. :)

I read about your husband’s arthritis in your sidebar. Sorry to hear that he has that. I’m 37 and I have reactive arthritis & iritis so I know how awful it can be. —I’ll pray for blessings & good health to be poured out on your family.
