WFMW – Dry Erase Board
10 Feb
Works for Me Wednesday is hosted by We Are THAT Family.
This dry erase board has solved a lot of problems for David and me. Although I’m quite organized (Okay, okay…obsessive.), David is more…spontaneous. This has created some challenges for us.
Recently, we started using this dry erase calendar. We keep to do lists, appointments and even a list of meals for the week on it. I got it at Target for less than $15. I put our bills in green on the day they are due. We slash through them once they’ve been paid. We put really important things in red.
It’s helped us so much. We’re communicating better about our finances and our schedule. And David has discovered the thrill of crossing things off your to-do list!
It works for me! Clicke here to see more great Works for Me Wednesday tips.

I think my husband and I could work around a calendar like this. I’ve seen them before but had not considered them. Neat!
I can see this in my future. (Does it mean I’m obsessive, too? Definitely a possibility!) Thanks for the picture, too. You’ve got me thinking I need a trip to the store.
This idea works great…but I would get to the end of the month and forget to update at the right time. Then all of the sudden its half way through the month. haha, maybe I need 2 of them
That’s a great idea! I’ve fallen in love with Google Calendar – it’s a similar idea but we don’t have the thrill of crossing things off a list. I miss that one!
Awesome idea! I would love it if you would link it up to my Tuesday’s Tips page at http://couponomicstimuluspackage.blogspot.com/2010/02/tuesdays-tip-how-to-get-out-of-debt.html#comments
Oh I LOVE this idea! Thanks!
Ok Ashley,
We have a similar calendar that we keep in the kitchen so as soon as I pour my coffee I see what I have lined up for the day.
I can’t help but notice that the chores are not done, but you got “DRUGS” scratched off!!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
