Hey Everyone..
I don’t mean to intrude but I just wanted to relay this so everyone understands this blog. It’s our blog. I am absolutely 100% fine with what my wife says and I LOVE her very much. We’ve gone through more than what most couples our age have, and she’s been through quite a bit and has helped me through a lot. I couldn’t imagine life without her. Because many of our friends are single, and none have dealt with anything like this, it has been hard for her to talk to anyone about whats gone on in our lives.
This blog is for her to share experiences online with 2 purposes. First, is to talk and share with those who have dealt with significant others or loved ones that have a chronic illness in hopes of having fun and sharing each others burdens. Second, to try and convey the difficulties and hardships that those with chronic illness endure so that those who have not gone through anything like this can better understand what others go through and be better equiped to help and be uplifting and meet the needs of those going through similar things.
As she writes this blog it may seem to some like she’s complaining or whining, selfish, etc. but it is very hard to convey these things in a short couple of paragraphs in a blog while trying to entertain. You really have to get to know us and read more than one of the posts to get to know what she’s writing and really saying. Scanning through or reading only a small sample will probably give you a very wrong inpression.
I appreciate all of you who are part of this blog. We hope each of you have as much fun and are uplifted as we are fellowshiping with you here. My arthiritis has been hard on us, and this blog has been a good outlet.
A Young Husband
Pleased to “meet” you David! You have an amazing wife, and I’m sure you are an amazing Young Husband as well…I have myasthenia gravis, so I know what it’s like to live with chronic illness…it’s also VERY difficult for the care-giver!
Thank you for sticking up for your wife…you are both people of great character and it’s a pleasure to know you.
