Just for the Joy of It

The apartment is still in disarray, and I’m struggling to find our rhythm. I’ve shopped at five different grocery stores and haven’t been happy with any of them. A lot of our organization methods don’t work in our apartment. You can hardly walk in our guest bedroom/office. We’re anxious to find a church home and make friends.

Still, we have lots to be joyful about this week. I found a chiropractor! I was having the car detailed (Major joy! It was so gross.) and the cashier and I got to talking while I waited. She recommended a chiropractor, and we have appointments for next week!

I’m almost finished with another scarf. I won’t say who is getting it for Christmas.

My in-laws sent us a delightful care package.

My sweet niece enclosed this.

Hello Kitty Lip Balm

David hung things on the wall. Oh, the bliss of having these off my floor! No more tripping on them! No more moving them to vacuum!

We haven’t seen our camera since we moved. I’m taking pictures with David’s Iphone, so that’s why the quality of these photos isn’t so great.

The biggest joy of this week is…renters! We think we have renters for our house in Texas. Our property manager is running background checks, and we should know for sure very soon.

Hope you’re having a joyful week!

Love,
A Young Wife

Congratulations on the renters! You’re singing to the choir here. It’s a weight off your shoulders financially when that aspect is taken care of. Visiting from Good, True & Beautiful’s just for the JOY of it.

    Happy Earth Day,
    Teresa

Sounds like you definitely have some things to be joyful about, even in the midst of a major move. Hope you find a church soon. It makes all the difference!

Ah! The JOYS of moving, and settling into a new community… I remember the feeling so well. I look back on it and wonder how we survived! But God, in His infinite, wonderful mercy gave us no more than we could handle.

I know I told you on Twitter that I have family in No NJ. They go to a great church in Suffern, NY (right on the border of NY/NJ). I can give you more details if you’re interested!

Yay for the renters and the chiropractor!! Oh my goodness I don’t know what I would do without our chiro. He opened up last SUNDAY to meet Doug and I there to put my rib back in. He is SO good, and such a compassionate man…

Praying things settle in for you soon…You moved in SUCH a hurry! I’m still so amazed at you guys for that.

Oh yes, the challenges of moving. I also rented out my place in FL when I moved to the Midwest. It was a relief to finally get a renter in. So far so good. Fingers crossed.
