Happy 4th of July!
4 Jul
We didn’t get to attend church services this morning, but it wasn’t because of arthritis. Early this morning, a group of young adults decided to take the party outside in front of our apartment building. After forty minutes of their yelling, David called the police. I would have done it, but I’ve already called the police on my neighbors once before. An hour later, things finally quieted down.
We did make it to a local fireworks show today. There weren’t a lot of gluten free food options. I guess next time we’ll bring our own food.
We first arrived at the high school’s baseball field. It was a short walk from where we’d parked.
I left to find us something to eat, and realized we needed to be over by the football field. I called David, and he said he’d drive over to us.
By then, traffic was bad, and with the police directing traffic, he was forced to park even farther away. I think we need to ask the new rheumatologist for a handicap parking permit since David’s expired.
We were concerned that Henry might freak out with the noise, but he didn’t.
Happy Independence Day, y’all!

Yay for fire works! I miss you! I’m glad you had fun!
Ugh! I can’t stand loud neighbors!!! I have been known to march over to people’s houses and give people the what-for while my baby is napping. I am THAT neighbor.
Sorry you had to miss church over loud/rude neighbors!!! Glad you got to see the fireworks and that Henry behaved!
ONE advantage to living out in the middle of nowhere among the bugs the size of a SMALL town in Texas: no neighbors.
