I trashed 52 items, returned 4 :), and donated/garage sale-ing 56 others. I discovered that I had outdated medicine and sunscreens that need to be replaced. In my travel toiletry bag, I had a few items that expired in 2001. Yuck! I'm also going to finally let go of a vintage '90's cordless curling iron. I had trouble letting this go even though I haven't used it in a decade. But, I am so happy that I only have what I use and will be able to (hopefully) find what I need when I need it. Also, in January I set aside 12 sweaters for garage sale or donation, and I went through our used art supplies and eliminated unusable markers and filled coloring books and miscellaneous papers.
