This post is a meme from ProBlogger.

*Your first post

My first blog post was about my physical. Physically, my doctor said I was fine, but he was concerned about my mental and emotional state. He encouraged me to find people my age who were dealing with chronic illness and taking care of their spouses. That physical was a catalyst for my blog.

* A post you enjoyed writing the most

Hmm…this is a tough one. I really enjoy writing them all. I guess 12 Days of Birthday because my family got a big kick out of the redneck presents.

* A post which had a great discussion

This post on The Happy Housewife’s blog about Refrigerating Eggs had very interesting comments. Apparently in England they don’t refrigerate eggs.

* A post on someone else’s blog that you wish you’d written

This post by Kristen at We Are THAT Family is called When Jesus Isn’t Enough. It’s raw and honest, and makes me feel ashamed for whining about petty things.

* Your most helpful post

Others may disagree, but as a good OCD housewife, I think this post on Cleaning Your Keyboard is my most helpful post. Keyboards get so germy! Clean yours!

* A post with a title that you are proud of

I’m afraid I’m going to have to cheat and put two links for this answer. I’m really proud of the Urge to Procreate Rising title, but I Didn’t Kill My Husband kind of grabs people’s attention.

* A post that you wish more people had read

Any post that describes how much pain David is in would suffice. I really wish more people understood how bad his Chronic Illness is.

    In my opinion…you write well and therefore should write a book! You’re always very interesting, and have done your homework on topics, and last but not least, inject enough humor to keep a balance in life! :)

    I don’t have time today, but I am going to bookmark these posts and go back to read them soon. The egg refridgeration thing puzzles me too…but again…I think we all have little “things” we refridgerate that others don’t. For me it’s peanut butter. Makes it tough to spread – but keeps the ants away! :-)

    If the egg is a NON-CHEMICAL egg there is absolutely no need to refrigerate an egg. For hundreds, if not thousands of years, we in the UK and just about every other country on the planet simply do not refrigerate eggs. There is MORE than enough evidence around to show that refrigeration of NON-CHEMICAL eggs is actually bad for the consumer…this is due to oxidization that takes place within the egg placed in a closed, confined area. The BEST place for NON-CHEMICAL eggs is, quite simply, in a wicker basket on the kitchen table…where your GrandMother used to keep them…just fine! Why does the USA have this odd, rather new-fangled, idea to place eggs in the refigerator? Because the food chain in the US is almost completely run by large, chemical based companies…chemicals of one sort or another permeate over 99% of all commercially sold foodstuffs. Beef, pork, vegetables, fruits and yes, even eggs contain chemicals. From birth young chicks are fed medicated feed in huge quantities and the list goes on and on and on….Eggs, containing even trace amounts of chemicals, NEED to be refrigerated. Get it? Still not a believer?? In the past 40 years children have developed – at least physically – at an alarming rate. Why? GROWTH HORMONES permeatting the entire food chain. Diabetes was almost unheard of 40 years ago…now it is a PANDEMIC….you ARE what you EAT!
