Hi, there! I’m Ashley. I love Diet Coke and dessert.

My husband David and I were high school sweethearts. He’s the only boy I’ve ever kissed. We have a dog named Henry that we spoil rotten.

In February of 2008 David was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. Having a chronic illness has changed our lives. It’s a big strain on us financially and emotionally. I hope that this blog will help other young people dealing with a chronic illness, and maybe I’ll get some encouragement and advice, too!

How young is A Young Wife, you ask? It’s not polite to ask a lady her age, but I’ll tell you this: I was 21 when I got married. If you read my blog, you should be able to figure out my age.
